1972年スウェーデン出身の写真家。現在は東京を拠点に活動している。2011年に東京に移り住む以前はニューヨークに15年間住んでいた。2013年にはアメリカ版ヴォーグとボッテガ・ヴェネタが開催したNew Exposure AwardでInternational Winnerに選出される。

2014年には、自身初の作品集『Instant Moments』、そして7年間かけて撮影したプロジェクト『I was looking for Park Hyatt Tokyo』の写真集を発表。東京、ニューヨーク、ロサンゼルスで写真展を行いました。 2015年12月から2016年1月、自身の最大規模となった個展『OIDE』が東京スウェーデン大使館にて開催され、同シリーズは 第4回 International Emerging Artist Award of Dubai (IEAA)に選出され、 IEAAとPixalibによって出版される「Best of 2016」に掲載されました。雑誌のエディトリアルや広告、また世界中のクライアントとの仕事を通しコンスタントに作品を発表し続けています。

受賞・選出： 2013年にアメリカ版『VOGUE』とBottega Venetaが主催した若手写真家支援コンテスト「New Exposure」で優勝。また、第18回文化庁メディア芸術祭審査委員会推薦作品にも選出されています。

展示・コラボレーション： 天王洲の MAKI Gallery での現代美術家・井田幸昌との二人展「LUNAR ECLIPSE」や、目黒の LOWW などでの個展・グループ展を多数開催しています。

Born in Sweden in 1972, he is a photographer currently based in Tokyo. Prior to moving to Japan in 2011, he spent 15 years living and working in New York, an experience that has informed his distinctive perspective on contemporary urban life and its shifting landscapes.

In 2013, he was selected as the International Winner of the New Exposure Award, presented by American Vogue and Bottega Veneta. The following year, he published his first photobook, Instant Moments, alongside I Was Looking for Park Hyatt Tokyo, an extensive photographic project developed over seven years. His work has since been exhibited in Tokyo, New York, and Los Angeles.

From December 2015 to January 2016, his largest solo exhibition to date, OIDE, was presented at the Embassy of Sweden in Tokyo. The series was subsequently selected for the 4th International Emerging Artist Award of Dubai (IEAA) and featured in Best of 2016, published by IEAA and Pixalib.

Working across fine art, editorial, and commercial photography, he continues to develop and present his practice through exhibitions, commissioned projects, and collaborations with clients and publications around the world. His work explores the fleeting encounter between people, places, and moments, finding within the everyday an understated sense of atmosphere, presence, and possibility.-

He is highly recognized for his delicate, evocative, and emotional style, often utilizing selective focus and soft focus techniques.

Awards: In 2013, he won the "New Exposure" fashion photography competition sponsored by VOGUE US and Bottega Veneta. His work was also selected as a Jury Selection at the 18th Japan Media Arts Festival.

Exhibitions & Collaborations: He frequently showcases his work in both solo and group exhibitions. Notable shows include "LUNAR ECLIPSE," a two-person exhibition with contemporary artist Yukimasa Ida at MAKI Gallery (Tennoz), and solo exhibitions at LOWW (Meguro).
